HISTORY
From humble beginnings in 2012, Sheng Tai International (STI) has grown into one of Malaysia’s and even Asia’s biggest companies. Founder and chairman Dato’ Leong Sir Ley established the company amid a global financial crisis which allowed her to aggressively recruit skilled employees. With our main office located in the bustling city of Petaling Jaya, Selangor, an overseas office was set up in Hong Kong to draw in foreign investors.
Starting out as a property company, we slowly began taking over projects that showed strong potential and redeveloped them into grand structures. Since then, we have grown at a rapid pace with 6 offices in 4 countries along with plans to open two more in Dubai and Seattle in the coming years. Our first development was Cameron Square in Cameron Highlands, Pahang in 2014. After Plentifield Marketing Sdn Bhd was acquired in 2016, we forged on with other smaller developments before the major development of MetraSquare in 2017.
Sheng Tai International continues to accelerate growth through major developments across high-value sectors and geographic regions. Recent landmark projects include the 6.1-acre Regalia Beachfront Residence in Tanjung Kling, Melaka and the 38-storey NOVO luxury apartments in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. We are also developing The Sail, a multifaceted 6.5 billion ringgit project. Furthermore, we have partnered with leading global companies and business leaders to attract investment in Melaka.
As we expand our corporate footprint and circle of prestigious partners, we remain firmly committed to shaping the future of development in Melaka, Malaysia and around the world through visionary projects that drive economic growth. We are well-positioned to build on our momentum and pioneer new frontiers of advancement across our business lines.
